About Surah and Tafsir

Surah refers to a chapter in the Holy Quran. Each Surah is composed of a number of verses known as Ayahs. The Surahs vary in length and the themes they cover.

Tafsir refers to the interpretation or explanation of the Quranic verses. It is a scholarly endeavor to understand the message of Allah in a more detailed and context-specific manner.

• وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ (And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy to remember)
• الْجَنَّةُ تَحْتَ أَقْدَامِ الْأُمَّهاتِ (Paradise is under the feet of mothers)
• وَقُلْ رَبِّي غَفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي (And say, 'My Lord, forgive me and have mercy on me')
• إِنَّ مَا تَوَعَّدُونَ لَآتٍ (Indeed, what you have been promised is true)
• إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ التَّوَابِينَ (Indeed, Allah loves those who repent)
